Olivia Rees is the 23 year old daughter to Ted and Kristy Rees and sister to Alex Rees, who stands with immense joy and gratitude as your 2024 Clackamas County Fair and Canby Rodeo Queen. She has been an active member of her community and the equestrian world her whole life. In
3rd grade, Olivia joined 4-h, where she competed for many years. In 2015 she had the honor to be a West Linn Old time fair princess, featured in the Portland rose parade proudly representing the heritage of her town. An active member of the National Charity League, Olivia dedicated over 160 hours of volunteer work, showcasing her commitment to service and the community that has shaped her. Olivia attended West Linn high school where she furthered her involvement, being a member of National Honor Society, the Lions Den, and the high school equestrian team. It was on this team that she earned a state silver medal in reining and competed at regionals. Olivia was dual enrolled at Oregon State University and Linn Benton where she got her degree in animal technology and equine science. During her college years, she undertook the rewarding task of breaking and training a 2-year-old horse named Smarty, whom she later joyfully adopted. Olivia will be riding her 16 year old horse Boots who she has had for 7 years now. Olivia is beyond thrilled to be your 2024 Clackamas County fair and Canby Rodeo Queen.
Madison Bailey is the 18 year old daughter of Mark and Brandie Bailey. She grew up in the little town of Monitor on her family’s farm. Madison recently graduated from Silverton High School with honors. While in High School she was involved in Silverton’s volleyball program, Oregon High School Equestrian Team; serving as drill captain her senior year, participating in Northwest Youth Rodeo Association, as well as showing livestock in FFA and 4-H here at the Clackamas County Fair. Her dreams of being a rodeo queen started at an early age and flourishing once she spent a year as a Molalla Buckeroo Junior Rodeo Princess in 2014. She hopes to pursue an electrical apprenticeship later in the year. Traveling with her this year is her 18 year old Quarter Horse gelding Montana. Madison is beyond excited and honored that she gets to represent a fair and rodeo that raised her and one she has cherished for so long.
